SBGJ235G Heritage Hi-Beat 40 mm
Description of the watch
This model, exclusive to Grand Seiko Boutiques and the e-boutique, is a contemporary reinterpretation of the design of the 44GS, which was first introduced in 1967 and is still the cornerstone of the Grand Seiko style today. The blue dial of this model is adorned with the iconic "Mt. Iwate" texture, a pattern inspired by the many contours of Mount Iwate, visible through the windows of the Shizukuishi Studio, where all Grand Seiko mechanical watches are made, and expresses the beauty of mountain scenery by moonlight. In a 40mm case, Grand Seiko's signature multi-faceted hands and hour markers help give the dial depth and dimensionality. The watch is powered by the Hi-Beat 9S86 caliber, which operates at 36,000 bph, offers a precision of +5 to -3 seconds per day and has a 55-hour power reserve. A GMT function allows the wearer to track an additional time zone, making the SBGJ235 an excellent timepiece for travelers.
