SBGA469G Heritage Spring Drive 41 mm Online Boutique Exclusivity
Exclusive to the online store The indigo dye known as Katsu-iro has a long tradition in Japan, dating back to the 15th century Sengoku period. The distinct blue of this indigo dye signified victory and was proudly used to color the armor worn by samurai. For this watch, available only at the online store, Grand Seiko combines this dynamic blue hue with the famous Iwao dial, or rock pattern, to create a versatile Spring Drive set from the Heritage collection. The textured dial features large faceted hour markers that contrast perfectly with the dark blue base. The 41mm stainless steel case is polished using Grand Seiko's signature Zaratsu technique. Thanks to the Spring Drive 9R65 caliber, the seconds hand glides silently and smoothly across the dial, perfectly reflecting the natural and continuous flow of time. The power reserve is 72 hours when fully wound and is indicated on the indicator at eight o'clock.
